Corrugated lamps, also known as LED tile lamps or crescent lamps, are mainly used for decorative lighting on glazed tile roofs of ancient buildings, villas, and landscape buildings.
Installation Preparation
Before installation, you will generally need:
- Electric drill
- Screwdrivers (Phillips and flathead)
- Waterproof adhesive
- Expansion screws
Choose the most suitable fixing method based on the tile material and installation environment.
Common Installation Methods
1. Screw Fixing
Scenario: Tiles are solid and can withstand drilling and screw grip (e.g., cement tiles, clay tiles).
Steps:
- Mark positions: Accurately mark the fixing points on the tile.
- Pre-drill holes: Use an electric drill to make holes at the marked points. Pre-drilling helps prevent tile cracking.
- Install the bracket: Secure the bracket to the tile with screws, ensuring it is stable.

2. Adhesive Fixing
Scenario: For glazed tiles, certain ancient building tiles, or other materials unsuitable for drilling.
Steps:
- Use a strong outdoor structural adhesive.
- Connect the corrugated lamps into the desired series and adjust the aluminum plate angles.
- Apply the adhesive to fix the lamp in place.
- Corrugated lamps are exposed to wind and rain year-round, so always choose products with a protection rating of at least IP65 to ensure dustproof and waterproof performance.
